Step One  
 
This is an online version of an RTOP teacher workshop. During these workshops, the participants usually score the video lessons too generously on their first attempts; after more discussion and more video vignettes, the scores typically fall quite dramatically--indicating that the participants rapidly become more discerning.

The scores you and your colleagues generate will be compared to the RTOP score from two trained observers. Thus, you can compare your scores, and these scores may be useful for formal research if they fulfill the following criteria: if you score enough videos; if your scores are within +/- 5 points total for the trained observers, and if each item score varies by no more than a point.

Please do this with one other colleague or more. The RTOP is based upon discourse, and learning to use RTOP should be a collaborative interaction between participants.
