Hub Making

We used 1 3/8" closet rod from a local home improvement store to construct the hubs for the classroom wind generators. The depth of the cut on the mitre saw was made consistantly by clamping a 2x4 block to the guides of the saw. In this case the depth we chose was approximately 5/8". All told, we cut out around 50 of these hubs.
