Turbine Parts

Here is the test stand that was made to hold each of the student wind generators for testing. Enough were made to accomodate the small groups of students and one was placed on each set of desks in the classroom. It is constructed of a single 1" x 10" pine board with a PVC tube pressed into a hole drilled on one end. The tube was offset in case some weight needed to be used to hold the stand down, such as a couple textbooks or a clamp of some sort. The student turbines are easily placed onto the adapter at the top of the tube. This holds the turbine securely but allows it to be removed easily as well.
